The 1910's Worldwide

Picture
The 1910's in America was a time of change. In America, the 16th, 17th, and 18th Amendments were passed allowing for the federal income tax, direct election of US Senators, and prohibition.

Beyond this progressive movement in the United States, in European nations the 1910's were epitomized by the outbreak of The Great War in 1914 over the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand.

The 1910's featured war along side advances in the automobile with Ford's Model T, changes to music with the emergence of jazz, and the increasing popularity of the radio.
