Interns, staff and volunteers learn the museum cataloging system Musarch. An experienced volunteer and former curator provides training and guidance in cataloging objects that meet professional standards and best practices used in museums, libraries and archives throughout the world. As of November 2013, this catalog system is now updating online.

Interns and volunteers are also welcome for our docent/guide program, assisting special events, designing and researching new exhibits, museum education/outreach, grant proposals and marketing.

Former Staff and Interns have gone on to:
  Graduate schools
  Libraries
  Archives
  Historical Societies
  Research Assistants
  Museums
  Education/Teachers
  Journalism/Marketing
  Other

We are organizational members of the American Association of State and Local History

Thank you for your consideration!
